« ANYWAY (Mother Teresa) » by Venus

Poem: ANYWAY by Mother Teresa Original Portrait© by Venus / www.globalvenus.com I used color on Mother Teresas Scarf only, not her skin (left grey tone), to symbolize a stone like unbreakable humanitarian soul in her, like no one elses on this Earth. The bg has red nuance to balance the little girls skin tone she's holding, to symbolize burning poverty she's trying to save the little child from... An artwork inspired by a moment in Mother Teresas everlasting global divine mission of compassion, I created in 2003 pastel. Thanks for watching friends and commenting. « DON'T GO AWAY» by Venus

My journey through the heartland of America / Kansas City, USA. ©2012 Photo images taken by Venus (Sony HD - Kansas City, Leavenworth & St.Louis, USA) Poem: 'Don't Go Away' by Venus Music: 'Don't Go Away' by Eliah Kano ***** Photo images of Kansas City I've captured in splendid Country Club Plaza - such a beautiful, classic and cleaned area of Kansas, a City of 1.8 milion people, where you can simply walk around up and down the streets and enjoy the captivating city view and your time....My favorite of course 'Barnes & Noble' four floors gorgeous interior bookstore, magical stairs, so many interesting books for all ages, very few people around, quietude and such wonderful smell of Starbucks coffee..... Photo moments from Leavenworth Kansas are from the beautiful LEGENDS - splendid outdoor shopping center, surrounded by on the ground speakers and music in the air -- quite lovely. Photo images of St.Louis cityscape I captured from inside the vehicle while driving on the highway after passing Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois and Kentucky states.. theres something special about seeing through the glass... and quite captivating is the St.Louis Arch. The short poem 'Don't Go Away' I wrote while driving by that lovely tree at the park on my way out of Kansas City. The inspiration came from the whole experience within the city and other parts around visually reflecting moments wanted to be captured. I was hoping to find a song with a similar title for my video.. to my surprise the ...

« IMMORTALITY» by Venus

Unveiling Tafa's Story I've created in 1994 / Psychology of Portraiture Free Royalty Free Music: Film Atmosphere by RickVanMan: www.youtube.com Below, I gave a descripton of Tafa's reaction when he saw his portraits finished - You might find it interesting. It was 1994. As surprised as he was seeing himself painted, so was the rest of society with my choice of subject matter! It was my very first art show after graduation. I did not show the art to the public until Tafa himself approved it: At first, he refused to enter my art gallery .. 'I don't look nice' he 'murmured' blushing. I understood him by the gestures he made to communicate; he could not hear nor speak. 'Neither do I' told him smiling, looking like hell from painting and lack of sleep. After few seconds of slightly smiling and thinking he entered the gallery and faced his portraits. For a moment his body stretched tall, there was glitter in his eyes, he felt pride and I could see honor and dignity in him! He then put his index finger and thumb together and blew a kiss, and another and another one while looking at his portraits, signaling me 'how beautiful his portraits were.. a very touching display of emotion. He almost hugged himself in each of the artwork.. He nodded toward each moment, sighed at times and he laughed out really loud when he saw himself at the end smiling.. 'hehe, that's me up there' he kept laughing, looking toward the sky..My eyes filled with tears instead! After a great laugh, he then hit ...

The first death of Sailor Venus

This is the last death scene from the first season of Sailor Moon's first season.

Sailor Venus Moon Death

Venus: Death of a Planet

Why did Earth thrive and our sister planet, Venus, died? From the fires of a sun's birth... twin planets emerged. Then their paths diverged. Nature draped one world in the greens and blues of life. While enveloping the other in acid clouds... high heat... and volcanic flows. Why did Venus take such a disastrous turn? For as long as we have gazed upon the stars, they have offered few signs... that somewhere out there... are worlds as rich and diverse as our own. Recently, though, astronomers have found ways to see into the bright lights of nearby stars. They've been discovering planets at a rapid clip... using observatories like NASA's Kepler space telescope... A French observatory known as Corot ... .And an array of ground-based instruments. The count is approaching 500... and rising. These alien worlds run the gamut... from great gas giants many times the size of our Jupiter... to rocky, charred remnants that burned when their parent star exploded. Some have wild elliptical orbits... swinging far out into space... then diving into scorching stellar winds. Still others orbit so close to their parent stars that their surfaces are likely bathed in molten rock. Amid these hostile realms, a few bear tantalizing hints of water or ice... ingredients needed to nurture life as we know it. The race to find other Earths has raised anew the ancient question... whether, out in the folds of our galaxy, planets like our own are abundant... and life commonplace? Or whether Earth is a ...
