A friend of mine, Kori at {http was the first to come up with this waterfall braid cheat and we wanted to share it with you as well! Items Needed: Brush or rat-tail comb, 1 bobby pin, hairspray {if desired}. Time Requirement: 5 minutes Steps: 1. Start on front right of the head and section out a large strand of hair that can be your base for the twist around the head. 2. Divide this strand in two equal pieces and twist them around each other once. 3. Take a new selected strand of hair and place it between your twisting strands, so that it literally falls through. 4. Twist the two original strands once more. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 all the way around the back of the head and towards the top of the left ear. 6. When you finish your last twist, grab a bobby pin and secure the end of the twist above the ear, making sure to hide the bobby pin as best as you can. 7. I do not watch the series, however I have seen the photos fans have sent in and though I would highlight one of them that I thought was easy and super cute! We call this one the "Double French Braid and Twist". To begin, center-part the hair and then section off about a 1.5 inch strip on either side of the part. {These sections will provide the hair for the two French backs.} As your French backs reach as far back as the crown of the head, ended them into simple braids. Then take the braids and twist them around each other, tying them off together with a hair elastic. We added some volume to the hair before we made this braid, simply to add more texture to the hairstyle. This is a perfect 2nd-day hairstyle if you wore braids or had curls the previous day. Enjoy! Sorry for the quality! My laptop kept skipping and freezing while I recorded this video. This is my favorite protective style. I usually leave them in for 3-4 weeks. They are so small, that if you wanted to wash while they are twisted, you can. Just remember to rinse them thoroughly. I start off by sectioning my hair down the middle. Then, on each half, I separate my hair into 6-8 sections. I 2 strand twist the section to keep them & I clamp them with the clips you see in the video. I detangle (if necessary) by using a glycerine mix. I just get my hair damp enough for the comb to glide through. There are usually 10-15 mini twists in each section. Once I get to the twists in the front, I start them off with a braid & then transform int twisting. Again, I am SO sorry for the film quality of this video. Here's how I do my flat twist out - or my version of a flat twist out. Regular flat twists are done to stay in for an extended period of time. I do these larger looser flat twists just to get a big wavy look. This works best for me when it's done on 3 day old hair because your hair is fully dry and somewhat stretched out. Products used Mixture of aloe vera gel, leave in conditioner, and Jason Organics Texturizing Cream (I only had a small amount of this left so I put the other products in this container) Watch part two to see how this looks after taking it down the following morning.
