Lyrics v : Enjoy! (^-^) The best thing about tonight's that we're not fighting Could it be that we have been this way before? I know you don't think that I am trying I know you're wearing thin down to the core But hold your breath Because tonight will be the night That I will fall for you over again Don't make me change my mind Or I won't live to see another day I swear it's true Because a girl like you's impossible to find You're impossible to find This is not what I intended I always swore to you I'd never fall apart You always thought that I was stronger I may have failed, but I have loved you from the start Ohh, but hold your breath Because tonight will be the night That I will fall for you over again Don't make me change my mind Or I won't live to see another day I swear it's true Because a girl like you's impossible to find It's impossible So breathe in so deep Breathe me in, I'm yours to keep And hold on to your words 'cause talk is cheap And remember me tonight when you're asleep Because tonight will be the night That I will fall for you over again Don't make me change my mind Or I won't live to see another day I swear it's true Because a girl like you's impossible to find Tonight will be the night That I will fall for you over again Don't make me change my mind Or I won't live to see another day I swear it's true Because a girl like you's impossible to find You're impossible to find

Buster Keaton attempts to serenade a senorita and discovers it's more trouble than it's worth. From the Columbia short "Pest from the West", 1939. It was produced by Jules White, the man behind the Three Stooges. BTW, it would take me too long to explain why he's dressed like that so just go with it.

I arranged the song, "Serenade" from the anime Fruits Basket, for ukulele, piano and voice. I am singing all the voice parts and playing the instruments. I also whistled a bit in the chorus xD I am singing the official English lyrics which are very pretty! I know it's not a holiday song per se, but it does have that warm fuzzy-ness that you usually hear in one! Ahhh Anyone who knows me very well knows how much I love this manga/anime series. It's one of the best stories I've ever experienced *cries* This beautiful song plays in one of my favorite episodes. It was written by wonderful songwriter Ritsuko Okazaki who unfortunately is no longer with us...*raises candle* ══════════════════════════════ ~♥~DEDICATION~♥~ ══════════════════════════════ To all my fans and friends, on youtube and off. I love you guys, and can't thank you enough for loving my music and for allowing me to shine! ^0^ Thanks so much for another beautiful year! ══════════════════════════════ ~♥~LYRICS~♥~ ══════════════════════════════ Something delicate Special like the love we know My fragile heart beats at times secure and times alone My first treasure took me years to find It's what I cling to when confusion clouds my mind When you come to me and you smile Suddenly I feel as if everything's okay Lost in your smile all at once I'm swept away. A video I made with Franz Schubert's "Serenade". Franz Peter Schubert (January 31, 1797 November 19, 1828) was an Austrian composer. He wrote some 600 Lieder, nine symphonies (including the famous "Unfinished Symphony"), liturgical music, operas, some incidental music, and a large body of chamber and solo piano music. He is particularly noted for his original melodic and harmonic writing. Schubert was born into a musical family, and received formal musical training through much of his childhood. While Schubert had a close circle of friends and associates who admired his work (amongst them the prominent singer Johann Michael Vogl), wide appreciation of his music during his lifetime was limited at best. He was never able to secure adequate permanent employment, and for most of his career he relied on the support of friends and family. He made some money from published works, and occasionally gave private musical instruction. In the last year of his life he began to receive wider acclaim. He died at the age of 31, apparently of complications from syphilis. Interest in Schubert's work increased dramatically in the decades following his death. Composers like Franz Liszt, Robert Schumann and Felix Mendelssohn discovered, collected, and championed his works in the 19th century, as did musicologist Sir George Grove. Franz Schubert is now widely considered to be one of the greatest composers in the Western tradition.

"Moonlight Serenade" is an American popular song with original music by Glenn Miller and subsequent lyrics by Mitchell Parish. It was originally named "Now I Lay Me Down To Weep." When Miller recorded "Sunrise Serenade" in 1939, he placed this song on the back. It was an immediate phenomenon as an instrumental arrangement and was adopted as Miller's signature tune. The most striking part of the piece was its use of clarinet-led saxophone section, which is widely considered the classic Glenn Miller style. The first eight bars of the melody follow the form of the 12-bar blues. The song is a premier example of the American big-band sound from the mid-twentieth century.

Pezzo i forma di sonatina: Andante non troppo; Allegro moderato Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings in C major, Op. 48, premiered in 1880, remains today one of the late Romantic era's most definitive compositions. In his score, Tchaikovsky supposedly wrote, "The larger the string orchestra, the better will the composer's desires be fulfilled." Serenade for Strings has 4 movements: I. Pezzo i forma di sonatina: Andante non troppo; Allegro moderato; this was an homage to Mozart II. Valse: Moderato; Tempo di valse III. Élégie: Larghetto elegiaco IV. Finale (Tema russo): Andante; Allegro con spirito (We appreciate Wikipaedia's contributions in the descriptions here)

Balanchine's first American ballet, Serenade (1934), was choreographed for his students. An ideal manifestation of Tchaikovsky's soaring Serenade for Strings, its transcendent purity endures and renews itself as a primary testament to the choreographer's genius, and continues to intrigue with hints of poignant narrative.
