I saw this on a documentary and immediately brought it to the internets, because I don't think this footage has been posted yet. I own nothing in this video. Now for the members, possibly my countries greatest export: Vocals-Mick Jagger Guitar-Keith Richards Bass guitar-Bill Wyman Drums-Charlie Watts Sitar-Brian Jones *Edit-12 November 2010, I just noticed that this has over a quarter of a million views. Thanks for reassuring my faith in all things rock. *Edit-24 November 2010, I just found out that this video has been featured. Now I can die knowing rock and roll won't fade away.

Rolling Stones playing Ruby Tuesday: She would never say where she came from Yesterday don't matter if it's gone While the sun is bright Or in the darkest night No one knows She comes and goes Goodbye, ruby tuesday Who could hang a name on you? When you change with every new day Still Im gonna miss you... Don't question why she needs to be so free Shell tell you it's the only way to be She just can't be chained To a life where nothings gained And nothings lost At such a cost There's no time to lose, I heard her say Catch your dreams before they slip away Dying all the time Lose your dreams And you will lose your mind. Aint life unkind? Goodbye, ruby tuesday Who could hang a name on you? When you change with every new day Still Im gonna miss you... It was the third of september That day I'll always remember, yes I will 'cause that was the day that my daddy died Never had a chance to see him, no Never heard nothing but bad things about him Mama, I'm depending on you to tell me the truth Mama just hung her head and said [chorus] "papa was a rollin' stone Wherever he laid his hat was his home And when he died All he left us was alone" [repeat] Hey, mama, is it true what they say That papa never worked aday in his life Some bad talk going around sayin' Papa had three outside children And another wife That ain't right Heard some talk about papa and his storefront Preachin' Talkin' about saving souls and all the time Leachin' And dealing in dirt Stealin' in the name of the Lord But mama she just said [chorus] Say I heard my papa was a jack of all trades Is that what papa sent to an early grave? Folks say papa would beg, borrow or steal just To pay his bills Hey, mama, folks say papa was never much in thinkin' Spent most of his time chasin' women and drinkin' But mother, I'm depending on you To tell me the truth But my mama she just said

The Rolling Stones 1995 Childhood living is easy to do The things you wanted I bought them for you Graceless lady you know who I am You know I can't let you slide through my hands Wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away I watched you suffer a dull aching pain Now you decided to show me the same No sweeping exits or offstage lines Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind Wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away I know I dreamed you a sin and a lie I have my freedom but I don't have much time Faith has been broken, tears must be cried Let's do some living after we die Wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild, wild horses, we'll ride them some day Wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild, wild horses, we'll ride them some day

Great song from The Rolling Stones, it's the sixth track from Rolling Stones' 1978 album Some Girls, ENJOY :) Here are the lyrics: I was driving home early sunday morning through bakersfield Listening to gospel music on the colored radio station And the preacher said, you know you always have the Lord by your side And I was so pleased to be informed of this that I ran Twenty red lights in his honor Thank you jesus, thank you lord I had an arrangement to meet a girl, and I was kind of late And I thought by the time I got there shed be off Shed be off with the nearest truck driver she could find Much to my surprise, there she was sittin in the corner A little bleary, worse for wear and tear Was a girl with far away eyes So if youre down on your luck And you cant harmonize Find a girl with far away And if youre downright disgusted And life aint worth a dime Get a girl with far away eyes Well the preacher kept right on saying that all I had to do was send Ten dollars to the church of the sacred bleeding heart of jesus Located somewhere in los angeles, california And next week theyd say my prayer on the radio And all my dreams would come true So I did, the next week, I got a prayer with a girl Well, you know what kind of eyes she got So if youre down on your luck I know you all sympathize Find a girl with far away eyes And if youre downright disgusted And life aint worth a dime Get a girl with far away eyes

One of the best rock songs ever. Lyrics: Once upon a time you dressed so fine You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you ? People'd call, say, "Beware doll, you're bound to fall" You thought they were all kiddin' you You used to laugh about Everybody that was hangin' out Now you don't talk so loud Now you don't seem so proud About having to be scrounging for your next meal. How does it feel How does it feel To be without a home Like a complete unknown Like a rolling stone ? You've gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely But you know you only used to get juiced in it And nobody has ever taught you how to live on the street And now you find out you're gonna have to get used to it You said you'd never compromise With the mystery tramp, but know you realize He's not selling any alibis As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes And say do you want to make a deal? How does it feel How does it feel To be on your own With no direction home Like a complete unknown Like a rolling stone ? You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns When they all come down and did tricks for you You never understood that it ain't no good You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you You used to ride on the chrome horse with your diplomat Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat Ain't it hard when you discover that He really wasn't where it's at After he took from you everything he could steal. The Rolling Stones - Waiting On A Friend Lyrics Watching girls go passing by It ain't the latest thing I'm just standing in a doorway I'm just trying to make some sense Out of these girls go passing by The tales they tell of men I'm not waiting on a lady I'm just waiting on a friend A smile relieves a heart that grieves Remember what I said I'm not waiting on a lady I'm just waiting on a friend I'm just waiting on a friend Don't need a whore I don't need no booze Don't need a virgin priest But I need someone I can cry to I need someone to protect Making love and breaking hearts It is a game for youth But I'm not waiting on a lady I'm just waiting on a friend

"I don't think we have performed without microphones for a long time," Graham Nash said with a laugh this afternoon as a van carried him and David Crosby down to the Occupy Wall Street protests where amplified sound is infamously prohibited. "It's going to be fun, though." Upon arriving at lower Manhattan's Zuccotti Park, Crosby and Nash walked into the busy tent city and climbed atop an embankment to widespread cheers. "Everybody calm down! It's very crowded!" someone shouted, as the densely packed masses (including lots of professional photographers) pressed in on all sides. When the audience had settled down, Crosby and Nash launched into a powerful five-song acoustic set. Someone in the crowd held up an old vinyl copy of Crosby, Stills and Nash's 1969 debut LP as they opened with that album's "Long Time Gone"; by the second chorus, a healthy contingent was singing along. The duo continued with a stirring rendition of Nash's "Military Madness," an even more moving a cappella turn on Crosby's "What Are Their Names" - whose haunting, accusatory lyrics made it feel like an unofficial Occupy anthem - and a slow-burning tear through Crosby and Nash's more recent anti-corporate indictment "They Want It All." "You know this song," Nash said finally. "So help us sing it, all right?" It was their classic "Teach Your Children," and sure enough, what seemed like hundreds of voices joined in. After the final number, Crosby and Nash led the crowd in a series of chants: "KEEP GOING ...

TheRolling Stones are a prominent English rock band formed in April 1962 by guitarist and harmonica player Brian Jones, pianist Ian Stewart, vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards. Bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts completed the early lineup. Rhythm and blues cover songs dominated The Rolling Stones' early material; they are credited for raising the international regard for the earlier styles of blues typified by Chess Records' artists such as Muddy Waters who wrote "Rollin' Stone", the song after which the band is named. Unconcerned with being seen as authentic blues stylists, from the start the Rolling Stones have played rock and roll, and have written and recorded in many genres. Jones led the band until Jagger and Richards teamed to write hit songs for the band while assuming band leadership. By 1969 Jones' contributions were minimal, and he was unable to tour the United States for legal reasons. By mutual agreement he left the band. Weeks later Jones drowned, while Mick Taylor had already joined the Rolling Stones on guitar. Taylor left in 1974 and was replaced by Ronnie Wood. Wyman left in 1990, and his replacement Darryl Jones became the primary bassist, but he has not been made a full member. Stewart was taken from the official lineup in 1963 to continue as the band's road manager and occasional keyboardist until his death in 1985. Chuck Leavell is the current primary keyboardist for the band. After gaining popularity in Europe, The Rolling ...
