I'm in a rainy day sort or mood, so here's something to cheer everyone up, that and i think it might rain here in a few! "Blow Away" was a 1979 hit single by George Harrison, taken from his eponymous album. The song is one of Harrison's most popular and beloved post-Apple singles, but also one of the simplest. Its uptempo pop sound fell far outside of the dominant genres of the era, disco and punk. "Blow Away", written on a rainy day (that's why first verses are about clouds), was included in Nuns on the Run - a comedy with Eric Idle and Robbie Coltrane. The accompanying video was a simple affair; featuring various shots of George singing the song superimposed over shots of moving clouds and land, and in some instances, singing with full sized toys (a wind-up duck; sitting on a toy dog). There are even a few quick instances of The Quiet Beatle acting silly - breaking into a quick smirk as the camera closes in, and doing a very simple dance step are two of them. As this was early in music videos, the simplistic style wasnt out of the norm; however this received nominal airplay on MTV and was featured more on VH1.

Remastered from the original 'Milk and Honey' master. This a rare music video sourced from a Laser Disc copy of 'John Lennon - Video Collection'. "Nobody Told Me" is a John Lennon song, featured as the first single released from John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Milk and Honey album in 1984. The song was originally written for Ringo Starr to include on his Stop and Smell the Roses album, but Lennon died before the song could be used. "Nobody Told Me" was Lennon's last single to reach the top ten on Billboard magazine's Hot 100, peaking at #5. The B-side features Yoko Ono's "O'Sanity", also from the Milk and Honey album. The lyrics make reference to "a little yellow idol to the north of Kathmandu" which is similar to a line from J. Milton Hayes' poem entitled The Green Eye of the Yellow God. Hayes' line was "There's a one-eyed yellow idol to the north of Kathmandu". Another line in the song is "There's UFO's over New York and I ain't too surprised", apparently a reference to a UFO sighting Lennon had back in 1974. He made reference to this in the liner notes to his 1974 album Walls and Bridges with the message: "On the 23rd August 1974 at 9 o'clock I saw a UFO - JL". The tag line "Nobody told me there'd be days like these..." is in contrast to the old saw "My mother told me there'd be days like this." The video was a clipshow, as are most posthumous Lennon videos.

"Real Love" is a song written by British rock musician John Lennon. Lennon made six takes of the song in 1979 and 1980 with "Real Life", a different song that merged with "Real Love". The song was ignored until 1988 when the sixth take was used on the documentary soundtrack Imagine: John Lennon. "Real Love" was subsequently reworked by the three remaining members of The Beatles (Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr) in late 1995, an approach also used for another incomplete Lennon track, "Free as a Bird". "Real Love" was released as a Beatles single in 1996 in the United Kingdom, United States and many other countries; it was the opening track on the Beatles' Anthology 2 album. It is the last "new" credited Beatles song to originate and be included on an album. To date, it is the last single by the group to become a Top 40 hit in the US The song reached number four and number 11 in the UK and US singles charts, respectively, and earned a gold record faster than a number of the group's other singles. The song was not included on the BBC Radio 1 playlist, prompting criticism from fans and British members of Parliament. After the release of "Free as a Bird" and "Real Love", Starr commented, "Recording the new songs didn't feel contrived at all, it felt very natural and it was a lot of fun, but emotional too at times.
