I really like the size of this planner, fits in my bag nicely (see my What's in my bag video) and helps me to organize and track my home/family life and my work/business life. I watched a viedo by TsukasaBaby on Youtube. This person did a great tutorial on this. I made the whole thing out of things I had around the house and I did a few things differently to personalize the organizer. I started off with a box that held canning jars. I chose that box because of the size and the fact that it was already cut down to the size I needed. Then I used an old post office boxes for the back and the compartments. For the brush holders, I used one toilet paper roll and rolled up cardstock for the other one. To make everything match, I painted the inside of the rolls a creamy beige. Then I cut a matching piece of scrapbooking paper for the inside of the center compartment. When I got done, I realized that I needed something for my lipsticks and lipgloss. I made a little square for them. I covered everthing with vinyl shelving paper that I had around the house. This is to made it easier to keep clean. If I drop lipstick or eyeshadow inside the package, I can wipe it off with a damp cloth. Finally I dressed it up with lace and stick on flowers in pink and purple. I went online to see the prices of makeup organizers. The cheapest one I saw of the same size was $29.99. THIS IS NOT A FLEA MARKET! Its a Matsumoto tradition and a fine craft fair known across Japan! I have to say: There are no resellers here its all original hand made and one of a kind stuff. The Annual Craft Fair in Agata-no-mori on its traditional last weekend in May is always a really nice event with a pleasant atmosphere. Its a real family affair and child-friendly. There is plenty of space to sit down on the grass and have a picnic, and watch the world go by. This event seems to be getting bigger every year. There are many more vendors and the park is positively bulging with visitors looking for something special to take home. The stalls here offer everything you could possibly imagine at a craft fair and then some. Some things you might expect: the knick-knacks and trinkets, beads and bracelets, from toys to furniture, cloth, clothes and fabrics, incense, candles and one of kind hand bags and shoes. Would you expect to find a working metal smith or a glass blower? Right there! Need a straw brush or bamboo works, hand made fabrics and beautiful Japanese pottery, ceramics, glass and fine carpentry. I even saw a clock maker and some one of a kind hand made watches! Theres a tent for everyone. Not sure what to get for that impressive birthday gift? Look no further! Wander about and have a look around. You will need some yen though, bargains are few & far between. All of the craft workers here are professionals not hobbyists. Cash baby cash! As for food there are a few <b>...</b>

I was watching a video and decided that I should probably find a better way to organize my nail polish since my desk drawer was running out of space. I tend to keep all my nail rhinestones, flowers, etc in the same place so I decided that putting the nail polishes out for display was a good way to organize and makes it easier to access. I LOVE doing nails, especially adding lots of 3D designs and rhinestones, flowers, etc. But my nails are boring here because I haven't had time to do them nice lately.. ;[ You can buy the popsicle sticks at any craft store. I got my box of 1000 at Michael's for about $4. And I didn't even use 1/5 of the box. oo Anyways, its a DIY for anyone who is interested. :) It took me the whole day to make since I tend to work on other things at the same time. So sorry if the lighting/quality changes randomly. Wasn't really that good to begin with.. but you can still see it. :3 Music isn't by me.
