The Glass Menagerie is a 1987 American drama film directed by Paul Newman. It is a replication of a production of the Tennessee Williams play of the same title that originated at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and then transferred to the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. [1] The film is the fourth adaptation of the Williams play, following a 1950 feature film and television movies made in 1966 and 1973. It was shown at the 1987 Cannes Film Festival [2] and the Toronto International Film Festival before opening in New York City on October 23, 1987.

The Menagerie - Slangorangutang
The Menagerie stormed onto the UK Hip-Hop scene a few years ago, and are swiftly making a name for themselves as one of the dopest crews from the South East of England, through their energetic live shows and recently released LP, Wild Kingdom. The main core of the Menagerie consists of three emcees: Dr Syntax, whose appearances around the country with the Foreign Beggars have earnt him critical acclaim, Professor Elemental, the mad inventor for whom no subject matter is out of reach, and Koaste, formerly of 360 Physicals and Last Men Standing who brings his boundless energy to stages around the country. Behind the turntables is the domain of DJ Nick Maxwell, whose Adventures In Hip-Hop mixtapes have won him considerable plaudits and followers in recent years. Beats for the crew come from production heavyweights, Tom Caruana and the notorious crate digger Ido, whose rapid work rate ensure that the Menagerie have some of the best beats around. Hailing from Brighton, Menagerie have headlined the annual Hip-Hop festival there for the last two years, and opened for some of Hip-Hop's luminaries at venues around town and across the country. The Menagerie dropped debut album Wild Kingdom on Esperanto Records in 2005, and received rave reviews across the board. The Magical Menagerie
The Magical Menagerie is a spectacular carousel of monumental proportions and mythical creatures brought to Milton Keynes by producers of extraordinary live events Artichoke. The Magical Menagerie is the world's first and only square carousel, populated with giant buffalos, exotic insects and tropical fish that come to life as the carousel starts to turn. With a surface area of over 300metres squared and weighing 40 tonnes, this custom-built work of art makes an extraordinary impact even when still. Produced by Artichoke in partnership with Sky Arts and supported by Arts Council England, The Magical Menagerie is the creation of visionary artist and engineer François Delarozière. Director of French theatrical engineering company, La Machine, Delarozière has worked with Artichoke on two of its previous much acclaimed productions, Royal De Luxe's The Sultan's Elephant in London, and La Machine which saw a giant mechanical spider known as La Princesse take over the streets of Liverpool. A young bull is running lose and must be caught and relocated.

The classic "Greensleeves" sung by Owain Phyfe with instrumental performances by musicians from Wolgemut, Celtic Mayhem, Iron Hill Vagabonds, The Harper and The Minstrel, Revelers' Round, The New World Renaissance Band, and more. This was filmed on Feb 27, 2011 at the Florida Renaissance Festival, at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach, Florida, during a special early-morning session held just after the gates had opened. This session was really for the fun of the musicians to do a little bit of jamming together for themselves before the festival day started, and represents a mix-up of most of the musical groups at the fair. This particular performance features: (1) Owain Phyfe (from the New World Renaissance Band) on lead vocals and Chitarra Battente (an type of Italian Renaissance guitar). (2) Michael Gartner (aka "Micha" from Wolgemut) on his authentic replica of a medieval vielle.
