Check out Mike LeCompt... he was the guest host for this "open mic night" , here he is performing 2 songs , one a cover "Give Me Love" ( Give Me Peace on Earth ) and the other is a original tune called "Justina" . I must say I left this video with its original look but for brighten it up a little... after this performance , I ask Hank Carlsen the promoter of the gig to unplug the "purple" light . Thisvideo was shot at JT's Philadelphia House ( bar / club / food ) in northeast Philly on 5-3-11 , it is presented by "Carlsen Entertainment" . It was a great night , open mic goes from 7pm to 11pm , sign up starts about 6:30pm... call for the latest INFO as things may change... nice size room , non-smoking , free off street parking , tasty food at a fair price , good sound , lights could be a little better for pix and or video but that's something they may work on for future "open mic nights" . This video ( as with most I shot at JT's ) would be less "grainy" if I didn't use Windows Movie Maker software to "lighten" it up or change it into B/W or Sepia Tone... grainy vs dark... well the original color version of the video would look darker then it is now without the editing because there's not much light on the performer's on stage at the place / venue .
