I know there are already two USUK versions of this song but I reallly reaaallly couldn't help but animate this one XD The inspiration for this song really lasted in my head for over a year or so. So, I just HAD to make one. Surprisingly enough, this song took me about 4-5 days to make. A little insight about 'Laugh Maker'. The reason why I LOVE this song is mainly due to its symbolic meanings. The door, which basically symbolizes one's heart is one. But there is just one in particular that I MUST talk about. That is the "collected pressure of tears". You smart people might have gotten it already, but to those who didn't really notice it (like I did for half a year lol) what the narrator is talking about is how our bad experiences in the past pressure us not to open our hearts anymore to others. In this song, this is symbolized by the lock. Therefore, some of us might need an outside force to make the effort into our hearts and trust. This concept was just portrayed in such a meaningful way that I just had to talk about it. Also, please tell me your other interpretations about this song, ne? As the story progresses, Jerry gets on Bill's bad side and vice versa. The story is rather simple, but the main character is very complex, making this quite an interesting show. Studio One was a long time dramatic anthology series that first premiered on radio. I finished it! I suppose this is sort of the "sister" video to Double Lariat. It's drawn in the same style and I went with the "black and white to color" thing that I did with Double Lariat. Wanting to upload a video for the occasion, I thought, "Why not upload something involving the two characters that I associate with the most? The theme could be about how they met each other!". At that point, I didn't have any idea of what video I would create. Some time later, I stumbled upon a "Laugh Maker" video starring America and England from Hetalia, America being the Laugh Maker and England being the shut-in that the Laugh Maker is trying to help invite back into society that the shut-in had rejected for some time. Inspired by that video, I decided to make my video something along the lines of the Hetalia video's idea, except with my aforementioned characters. Who knew that a thought could motivate me into finishing a 3 minute and 42 second long video? The song used in this video is "Laugh Maker", by the band "Bump of Chicken".
