So we here have the Murcielago's successor and Lambo say all the components are practically new. Big numbers here: power is up to 700bhp from it's naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine with 509lb ft of torque that revs up to 8250rpm. Weight has been reduced to 1575kg, 90kg less than the Murcielago mainly due to the lightweight carbon fibre monocoque. This uses the new ISR transmission built by Graziano Trasmissioni, it's a single-clutch 7-speed semi-automatic but its gearshifts take only 50 milliseconds. With F1 style suspension, more rear biased weight distribution, a 0-62mph sprint of 2.9sec and a 217mph top speed it will be an even more focused supercar and just that little bit more insane :) Starting at over £200000 ($350000), want one? www.aventador.com

This is the shot of the Lamborghini Aventador's cool TFT display as we take it on to the circuit at Vallelunga. It's just the speedo, but it gives you an idea how fast the thing acquires outrageous speed. It's a relatively short circuit and we're following the instructors in Superleggeras, so we had to lift off and not crash in to the car in front, so yes we could have gone faster, but not really! I had a lucky day when I went with my friend to Lamborghini Beverly Hills service center because when we showed up there was a truck full of Aventadors. Seeing 3 together was quite the sight unless you work at the factory in Italy. I guess it helped a bit that we were there the day after the Pebble Beach Concours where Lamborghini had a few of their new toys on display including the wild orange Aventador (which is a new color exclusive to that car). I couldn't help but take pictures of these cars I mean just look at how ridiculous they look! Hopefully 2012 is full of many more Lambos and maybe a ride or 2 in an Aventador ;) I am back in the swing of things and will be posting videos regularly so please subscribe to keep up to date with my new videos! Although most people seem to think their orginality and excess of flashy colors and carbon fiber is "bad taste", I for one look at the whole design and really appreciate the work they do. It's original, thought of, and usually gives a whole new look and feeling to the "borrowed car". The experiments from Mansory are often crazy (in the good way), and this Aventador is NO difference! Although it has no known name that I know of, this Mansory Lamborghini Aventador is out of this world. A real UFO on wheels. The color is simply astonishing for starters, some sort of redish/orange paintjob that changes depending on lighting. The use of carbon fiber brings good additions to the car and make it look like a soldier wearing an armor, ready for battle :) Mansor also tuned a little bit the engine, which now boost 754 horse power (monster) at 8300 rpm, with top speed of approx 355 km/h. According to Lamborghini, "Aventador" was the name of a bull that entered into battle on October 1993 at the Saragossa Arena, earning the "Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera" for its outstanding courage. Having the courage to go up against a new world of super sports cars will be the name of the game for the new Lamborghini. Lamborghini has been promoting its carbon-fiber monocoque technology and the Aventador's 2.9 second 0-62mph, and a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h). Lamborghini says that the Aventador is two generations ahead of anything else on sale, using Formula One-style suspension and a lightweight carbon fibre monocoque. Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 features a brand new 6.5 litre V12 engine, producing 691 hp (515 kW). The Lamborghini's transmission, a single-clutch 7-speed semi-automatic, is built by Graziano Trasmissioni. It was truly incredible and stacks up to one of the best car events I've ever been to. For the first couple of minutes I put together a montage of some of the cars that showed up. The cars ranged from a (factory) one-off Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster LP640 "Versace Edition" to a Ferrari Enzo to a black/purple/gold Porsche Carrera GT. I filmed all the cars taking off and I also got a chance to film some of the best cars there ripping it onto the deserted freeway.
