This is the live performance of the song Wisdom Justice and Love by Linkin Park from their album Thousand Suns, released in 2010. It is part of the MTV European Music Awards free live show at Puerta de Alcalá, Madrid, Spain, 2010 where they won the Best Live Performance title. The song features a part of the speech Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence by Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. on 4th April, 1967. In this he spoke strongly against the US's role in the Vietnam war and argued that the country needed larger and broader moral changes. The lyrics are: I come to this magnificent house of worship tonight because my conscience leaves me no other choice. A true revolution of values will lay hands on the world order and say of war: This way of settling differences is not just. This business of burning human beings with napalm, of filling our nation's homes with orphans and widows, of injecting poisonous drugs of hate into veins of people normally humane, of sending men home from dark and bloody battlefields physically handicapped and psychologically deranged, cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice and love.
