This is the best recording I've ever heard of Steve Earle's song "Jerusalem". It's included on one of the "Broadcasts" CDs put out by Austin radio station KGSR. No copyright infringement intended, this is a now-rare recording from 2003, with just Steve Earle, a guitar, and a harmonica. I first heard it on Christmas day that year, when my dad received the CD as a gift...and I still consider it the BEST version of one of the greatest songs ever written.

It ended with KGSR but it had to have began someplace... After Border Media announced that Hurban Digital 104.9 and 92.5's staff as well of the staff of La Ley 98.9 were all being released, format changes were inevitable. Later, Simmons Media announced that the local programming of Sports Talker ESPN 1530 would relocate to 104.9 and it would relaunch as "The Horn", an obvious allusion to the Texas Longhorns. 1530 would air the national ESPN Radio feed. That's a popular trend for sports talkers lately. 98.9 KHHL and 104.9 KXBT switched calls. 104.9 became the Horn, and 98.9 became "The Big Talker". Do they mean as in "News/Talk" because last time I checked, Bob & Tom are comedy driven, not Rush-esque news talk. 590 KLBJ was simulcasted on 99.7 K259AJ, once a translator for Hot 93.3 92.5 orginally simulcasted 104.9 as it did as Digital but later flipped to Scott Shannon's True Oldies The only station under Border that kept its format was Juan 1490, a Spanish Variety Hits outlet and that only happened when a deal that would've flipped KFON 1490 to Christian fell through. On November 19th, Emmis Communications announces that 107.1 KGSR Radio Austin will move to 93.3 replacing KDHT and a new Spanish format will debut on 107.1. On November 20th at 5 pm, KGSR simulcasted on both 93.3 and 107.1 until November 30 when Regional Mexican "La Z" debuted on 107.1. Hot fans are angry and don't look at Clear Channel's recently launched 105.9 The Beat as a real hip hop station especially ...
