It's been a while, I've missed you. In this little tutorial I'm covering the basics of diagnosing a Honda ignition system. I had some technical difficulties while doing this one (I forgot to press record on a couple of occasions and missed a couple of shots) and didn't get all that I had hoped in this video. In particular I was hoping to show the use of a test light to do this diagnosis but didn't get all the footage necessary so I'll go back and shoot that at a later date. I'm hoping there is enough information here to get you started in understanding and diagnosing your ignition system so that you don't have to buy stuff you don't need trying to fix a problem. How to Set Ignition Timing, Acura Integra
This is kind of part 2 to the video I did on replacing a distributor on an Acura Integra. Whenever you replace a distributor on an engine like I did in that video you will also need to reset the ignition timing. I did my best to show you the operation in real time but the camera really didn't like the strobing light so I'm sorry I wasn't able to get you a better picture of that. The most important thing to remember with this is to read the procedure before you get started, if not you may perform it incorrectly and as a result set the timing incorrectly.
