Here... www.nevadamusic.co.uk The Ibanez RG range have been gracing the windows and shelves of music stores for over 20 years now, there are now over 25 different models that come under the RG banner and they are still as popular now as they have always been.. The RG 3620 Z is part of the Ibanez Prestige range and is manufactured using a mahogany body with a AAA flamed maple top. The Super Wizard Prestige neck is made from 5 piece maple and walnut neck with flat rosewood fret board that utilises 24 jumbo frets and dot fret markers. Mahogany has been used to manufacture guitars for many years, offering good low resonance and sustain. The pick-up configuration provides USA made Dimarzio Air Norton (Neck) and Tone Zone (Bridge) hum-buckers. These pickups are hot enough to qualify as a high-output pickup, but have a wider dynamic range...meaning that hard picking will produce a lot of power, and softer picking will be much cleaner and quieter. A single volume and separate tone control speed knob provides volume and tone adjustment where appropriate. The RG-3620-Z uses the Ibanez Edge Zero locking tremolo system which is in a matt charcoal finish to match the Himalayan Black finish of the guitar. Took a break from washing the car to record this first video with my new setup. Playing along to a Joe Satriani style backing track. This is an impro ive been working on for a while now, it turned into my perfect mix of rythmn and lead. Although my main players are higher end 90s Ibanez Universe models, I wanted to grab another Ibanez to experiment with Drop C tunings. I also didn't want to spend a ton of cash. The one that caught my eye was the newer RG350M. I love the old school RG550-ish styling, along with the maple fretboard, wild color scheme & slick Wizard III neck. For some reason, the green one (RGM) has the Edge Zero II trem with the Zero Point System & the other colors (SLB & YE) have the less-than-spectacular Edge III. The Edge Zero II is a fantastic trem that let's you go nuts, yet has excellent tuning stability. Ibanez should definately consider ditching the Edge III all together. And I will say that the pickups are pretty nice as well, but throwing in a nice set of Dimarzio pups will be my next investment. For $429 via American Musical Supply (where I got it & excellent service), the Ibanez RG350M (RGM in particular) is an absolute steal for what you're getting. It's a solid gig worthy axe & can accomplish a ton of styles & flavors. I'm really hoping Ibanez will add the older RG550s back into the lineup & keep going with the wilder paint schemes. Black is cool, but it's not the only color guitarists dig. And honestly, the RG series is geared for those of us who like our brand of music heavy, so I basically stuck to that. This Wah pedal features Push-Lok® knobs and 3 controls, to tweak the wah sound to the max. It can produce anything from a soft and mellow wah sound to extremely agressive, over the top sounds. This pedal also features Auto-mode, which activates the pedal whenever you step on it (like the Bad Horsie wah). When it's not in auto mode, the pedal is switched on and off trough the footswitch on the side. This mode enables you to leave the pedal at a fixed point, to use it as a mid or high boost.
