Clopin bought Esmeralda from the gypsies when she was young. Dancing in the square at the festival, Esmeralda is spotted by Jehan, the evil brother of the good archdeacon Claude Frollo. When he sets Quasimodo out to kidnap Esmeralda, Phoebus, Captain of the Guards, rescues her and captures Quasimodo. The courts sentence Quasimodo to be flogged, and the only one who will give him water while he is tied in the square is Esmeralda. After Clopin forces Esmeralda to leave Phoebus at the ball, she sends a note to Phoebus to meet her at Notre-Dame. In the garden, Phoebus is stabbed in the back by Jehan. Esmeralda is accused of stabbing Phoebus, convicted by the courts and sentenced to hang. When Esmeralda again rejects Jehan, he tells her that Phoebus is dead, even though it is not true. Clopin, Phoebus and Quasimodo all try different ways to save Esmeralda. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame is in the public domain, and can be downloaded here for free: www.archive.org

King Louis XI is a wise and old king and Frollo is the Chief Justice. Frollo gazes on the gypsy girl, Esmeralda, in the church during Fool's Day and sends Quasimodo to catch her. Quasimodo, with the girl, is captured by Phoebus, Captain of the Guards, who frees the girl. The courts sentence Quasimodo to be flogged, and the only one who will give him water while he is tied in the square is Esmeralda. Later, at a party of nobles, Esmeralda again meets both Frollo, who is bewitched by her, and Phoebus. When Phoebus is stabbed to death, Esmeralda is accused of the murder, convicted by the court and sentenced to hang. The song "God Help the Outcasts" is a soft ballad sung by Esmeralda inside Notre Dame after she sees how Quasimodo and her people are treated by society. It replaced another song, "Someday," which was cut when the directors wanted a quieter song in a cathedral. Heidi Mollenhauer is best known for her role as the singing voice of Esmerelda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Update Notice to The General Viewer - This is the final release. I went back and edited the sound so that the Orchestra has more of a presence throughout the movie and made a few volume adjustments in certain places that needed it. It sounds much much better with that full orchestra sound and I was able to do it without having to drastically remix all of the vocal tracks. Because, this is the final version, (and the version I want most people to see) I am going to set the privacy settings on my previous version to "unlisted" If you want to see what the original fan dub sounds like or if you prefer to watch the original fan dub, you can do so by following the link below: www.youtube.com This is my gift to my sister for her 19th birthday and my gift to those who enjoy watching and and serving as influence and inspiration for my work. This is what I thought until recently would've been impossible to accomplish. This is my reenactment of the Walt Disney Pictures masterpiece, "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in which I play the voices of every major male character in the film. In this movie you will hear me performing the voice overs for Clopin, Judge Claude Frollo, Quasimodo, Phoebus, the Gargoyles: Victor, Hugo, and Laverne. (because I do a pretty convincing old lady gargoyle voice). I hope you guys enjoy watching this, and please let me know what you thought once it's finished. This did take quite a lot of time and effort to put together. Sincerely, Daniel P. Collins "DanC ...

Heaven's Light from the Disney film, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, 1996. Copyright Disney. Lyrics: So many times out here I've watched a happy pair Of lovers walking in the night They had a kind of glow around them It almost looked like heaven's light I knew I'd never know That warm and loving glow Though I might wish with all my might No face as hideous as my face Was ever meant for heaven's light But suddenly an angel has smiled at me And kissed my cheek without a trace of fright I dare to dream that she Might even care for me And as I ring these bells tonight My cold dark tower seems so bright I swear it must be heaven's light

My first non-Advent-Children-related music video. Yay! I've loved this movie ever since it first came out, so I was like, "Ya know what? Why the fudge not?" Enjoy! Song is "Barbed Wire and Roses" performed by Pin Monkey. Clips are from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame.

All credit is listed at the bottom of this Description!** A note about the audio: The audio from the movie is deliberately quieter than the music, for the music is the tracks "Sanctuary!" and "And He Shall Smite the Wicked" from the "Hunchback of Notre Dame" soundtrack. I wanted the music to be the showcase since I wanted to share with people the Latin text and translations that play during this scene. When you know what the Latin is saying, it fits the movie. And, also, if you read the translations while watching this finale, you could almost read it two ways: In some cases, the text sounds like it could be from the viewpoint of either Quasimodo and Esmeralda OR Frollo, in a twisted sort of way, especially at the end. Also, yes, I cut out parts of the finale, mainly because I had to keep the video under 10 minutes. It was tricky trying to sync the music tracks up with the music playing in the actual film, since the movie has extra bits of music that weren't in the soundtrack and there are also parts when there is an extended moment of silence, where in the soundtrack it just flows into the next bit of music. I truly tried my best. So this video is all about the Latin. I took the Latin text and translations from the text and translations that are found in the soundtrack's liner notes, which of ...
