This video is dedicated to my dad who is a real hendrix fan and who now teaches me playing the guitar... wish I had hendrix' talent! I saw no one else uploaded this version and now I hope you enjoy!! Lyrics: There must be some kind of way out of here Said the joker to the thief There's too much confusion I can't get no relief Businessmen there - they drink my wine Plow men dig my earth None will level on the line Nobody of it is worth - Hey! No reason to get excited The thief he kindly spoke There are many here among us Who feel that life is but a joke but huh But you and I we've been through that And this is not our fate So let us not talk falsely now The hours getting late - Hey! All along the watchtower Princes kept the view While all the women came and went Bare-foot servants too, but huh Outside in the cold distance A wild cat did growl Two riders were approaching And the wind began to howl - Hey!

I wonder where Austin Powers got his inspiration from? The Troggs formed in 1964 and were signed by the manager of The Kinks, Larry Page in 1965. Their most famous hit was the single "Wild Thing" (written by Chip Taylor), which with the help of television exposure on Thank Your Lucky Stars reached number 2 in the UK and number 1 in the United States in June 1966. Its combination of a simple heavy guitar riff and flirtatious lyrics helped it to quickly become a garage rock standard. It was recorded in one complete take (take two) at Olympic Studios in London, with Keith Grant engineering. The band's success in the US was also limited by not touring there until 1968.

Down the street you can hear her scream "you're a disgrace" As she slams the door in his drunken face, And now he stands outside and all the neighbours start to gossip and drool. He cries "Oh girl, you must be mad, What happened to the sweet love you and me had?" Against the door he leans and starts a scene, And his tears fall and burn the garden green. And so castles made of sand, fall in the sea, eventually. A little Indian brave who before he was ten, played war games in the woods with his Indian friends, and he built a dream that when he grew up, he would be a fearless warrior Indian Chief. Many moons passed and more the dream grew strong, until tomorrow He would sing his first war song, And fight his first battle, but something went wrong, Suprise attack killed him in his sleep that night And so castles made of sand, melts into the sea eventually. There was a young girl, whose heart was a frown, Because she was crippled for life, and couldn't speak a sound And she wished and prayed she would stop living, so she decided to die. She drew her wheel chair to the edge of the shore, and to her legs she smiled "You won't hurt me no more." But then a sight she'd never seen made her jump and say "Look, a golden winged ship is passing my way" And it really didn't have to stop...it just kept on going. And so castles made of sand slips into the sea, Eventually

en.wikipedia.org Third Stone From the Sun is a song written and originally recorded by Jimi Hendrix and released as "3rd Stone From The Sun" on the 1967 Are You Experienced album by Jimi Hendrix Experience. It is mostly an instrumental, but includes pieces of spoken word, performed by Hendrix, over the music. Because the song mixes the styles of rock and jazz, it is often cited as one of the earliest examples of fusion. The title 3rd Stone From the Sun is a direct reference to Earth, which is the third planet away from the Sun in the Solar System. The song features slowed-down voices and dialogues between Hendrix and his manager Chas Chandler. They wanted to reproduce the spacy sounds from Star Trek. The word Stone in the title was a way to depict the Earth from an alien point of view. This song, along with "Purple Haze," was frequently covered live by Jaco Pastorius. Part of the guitar chorus melody has been quoted on other records, amongst them The Amboy Dukes ("Baby, Please Don't Go"), Cozy Powell ("Dance With The Devil"), Weather Report ("Slang"), The Allman Brothers ("Mountain Jam"), DEVO (a cover of Hendrix's "Are You Experienced"), and Right Said Fred ("I'm Too Sexy"). The song also inspired the title of the TV show 3rd Rock from the Sun.[citation needed] Guitarist Joe Satriani's 2002 album and music publishing company are both named "Strange Beautiful Music" which is a lyric from Third Stone From The Sun.

The opening act of the legendary Michael Winslow's hilarious performance in Michael Winslow Live at the Improv. Known universally as the sound-effects ninja guy from Police Academy, he continued to refine his noises and impersonations long after the movies disappeared from public view. He now returns with his amazing signature Jimi Hendrix impersonation along side other incredible acts later in the show including a Led Zeppelin performance and a host of other sound-effect related gags.
