It is a type of tribute to my teacher Marcel Marceau, to create a play in the style of his plays like Bip & the Dating Service, Bip commits Suicide. Meaning...a play about a man in turmoil over love. *** Dedicated to Trent Arterberry for coaching me during the initial creation and construction. And a big Thank you to Maria Hannonen for the countless late nights she spent helping me find all those "delicious" moments that made the play a success. ***

THE ARGUMENT - 2011. For those of you who wonder what my favorite play is...it is this one. Mainly because I've never written a more difficult play. As you will see, each "note" of the song becomes an acting beat, a readible thought to the audience. Then, a long musical solo, (Violin, Piano and Bass) had to be turned into a series of sentences to make a visible conversation between the musicians. Consequently, an Argument! Finally, This play marks the third mime play in a style I now call "The Portrait Series." These are works that weave every single note, and more improtantly, the length, speed and pitch of the note...to the mimetic gesture. -- I wrote this play in 2006, and worked 2 full years before premiering it in 2008. Here it is in 2011 just starting to really take shape. Enjoy!

HERE AGAIN is also one of my four newest works premiered during my LOUDER THAN WORDS show at the Teatr Na Woli's 11th International Mime Art Festival in Warsaw, Poland. It is a play about sadness and how the world awaits us during these long dark phases, hoping we will come out of the dark to join it. I staged the play to two Chopin songs. I used Chopin for two works in the production as a tribute to Poland. (The other work is titled "...Loves Me Not."

This 6-minute video Tributes the Life and Art of Marcel Marceau. It was created by Gregg Goldston and uses only Goldston's personal photos and video footage taken during the 20+ years that Goldston worked under Marceau. Most of the photos were taken from the theater wings by Goldston while he was touring as Assistant to Marceau. (Holding the Title Cards for Marceau) Ted Hardin filmed the video and was from a once in a career performance that Mr. Marceau gave called: BIP SPEAKS. It was in Marceaus words, the first time he spoke to an audience while in his Bip Costume. This performance was a benefit that Mr. Marceau held for the Goldston Mime Foundation.
