93's OKJ - FAMILY - A SONG FOR ME 1970

With the departure of Rick Grech teh band lost an essential part of their sound. This part was certailnly compensated by arrival of new member Poli Palmer whose keyboard work very much defines the Family sound for most of the Seventies. A Song For Me is interesting album, this track 93´s OK J is different from the rest album. [ Roger Chapman vocals, percussion John "Charlie" Whitney guitars, banjo, organ Robert Townsend drums, percussion, harp John Weider guitars, violin, dobro John "Poli" Palmer vibes, piano, flute

Music in a Doll's House is the debut album by progressive rock group Family, released in July 1968. The album, which was mainly produced by Dave Mason of Traffic, features a number of complex musical arrangements contributing to its ambitious psychedelic sound. ▬▬▬ ♪♫ ▬▬▬ Winter time, it brings me down Ice cold winds, snow on the ground Soon I feel the summer breezes Watch it as it carefully seizes Thistle down, send it 'round Slowly upwards, slowly down Gently moving, never a sound Wish that I could hibernate Go to sleep and never wake Until the sun comes shining once again Winter time, it brings me down Overcoats and scarves thrown 'round Cold, dark nights, dense wintry gales Frozen feet in snowy trails Slowly homeward, trudging through Wind and rain and hailstorms too Where's the sun, I wish I knew Winter time, it brings me down Ice cold winds, snow on the ground Winter time, it brings me down Overcoats and scarves thrown 'round

PALADIN - CHARGE! - MOONBEAMS

"Released in the Summer of 1971, "Charge" was Paladin's sencond and final album. Formed the previous year by Keith Webb and Pete Solley (both ex-members of Terry Reid's band), Paladin encompassed all that was experimental in early 70's rock. Fusing the worlds of jazz, rock and ethnic Cuban music, Paladin's second album was both more "progressive" and hard edged in nature to their debut. Adorned in a striking sleeve designed by ROGER DEAN (artist for YES), the album became known as much for it's sleeve as the excellent music within. Recorded at The Beatles' APPLE studios and engineered by GEOFF EMERICK, the album was Paladin's finest hour featuring the classics "Give Me Your hand" and "Anyway". One of the first signings to Bronze records, Paladin shared a home with URIAH HEEP, COLOSSEUM et al and were highly regarded.
