Christine Collister & Clive Gregson : It's All Just Talk :

A great song composed by Clive Gregson and beautifully sung by Christine Collister and recorded many years ago for "Aly Bain and Friends" Not many pics in this as the attention should be drawn to the voice and the words rather than anything else.

Clive Gregson & Christine Collister - I Will Be There

I first heard this song by Clive Gregson & Christine Collister (from their "Mischief" album, released in 1988) on a low budget horror movie and immediately fell in love with it. Answers.com bio: Clive Gregson and Christine Collister were the most moving and memorable UK folk-rock duo to emerge since Richard and Linda Thompson. Gregson's wry tales of the ins and outs of love, sung in Collister's heartbreaking voice have earned the duo (and subsequent solo work) respect and a devoted following though commercial success and mainstream recognition have eluded them. In 1984, Gregson discovered Collister singing in a folk club and, impressed by her talents, he offered to work with her on future projects. By 1992, the stress of constant touring and working together with out substantial success finally took its toll on them. The two decided to go their seperate ways after one parting shot, "The Last Word", and one final tour.
