At first I wasn't that impressed with Google Wave when I heard about it (on paper). It just sounded like they merged all their online apps into one interface, which sounds like a good idea, but isn't really something revolutionary. After seeing the demonstration of Google Wave www.youtube.com - I was very impressed. I wasn't impressed with the feature set of the demonstration (which was impressive), but I was impressed by the potential of the protocol.
