On April 8 2010 Redbull held a regional Dj battle in which the winner would go on and compete in the US Finals in Denver. This was the set that I performed that won the 3style regional in Pgh. The idea is to have the best party rocking set while using 3 different styles of music. I won the regional and advanced to the finals in Denver. This is part 1 of 2. So not only so I get to do cool dj thing's!!! But I also every once a while connect with some of the students in the PGH area. At the end of every school year Trinity Middle School host the Real Concert Experience. They bring professionals in the music business to talk to the students about their craft. And of course I got to school the kiddies on being on the radio and the art of Mixing/turntablism. These things are the favorite things about the job. I feel like that if i get to influence one kid to do something he or she desires I've helped change the world. Thank you to Mark Davis and the Trinity Middle School students and staff.
