Richard Bona and his song "Dina Lam"... The performance is from a Steps Ahead live at Jazz festival Vitoria 2005... lyrics (thanks to Gruuvin1): Mother, I would not exist without you You are all cortesy and respectful to everyone and everything You are a Queen Now I'm sure of that Rising children, a toil without any crown Now, of that I'm sure Years have come and gone Now, you're tired and You may finally have some rest

GoVacuum Hardwood Floor Mop Comparison: Bona Versus Swiffer. For years, Swiffer® has had a stranglehold on the hardwood floor-cleaning market. Its Wet Jet® mopping system was a virtual monopoly, with no competitor up to the task of dethroning the supposed king of clean. That was until the release of Bona's Hardwood Spray Mop. After conducting an extensive review of the Bona product in a side-by-side comparison with its competition, the Swiffer, GoVacuum was blown away by the results. Not only did the Bona mop prove superior to the WetJet, but even more surprisingly, it wasn't even close. Some highlights of the findings: *Bona's state-of-the-art microfiber pad is reusable up an astounding 250 times - Replacing Swiffers disposable pads for the same amount of use would cost an additional $120 *Bona's mist spray does just that, emitting a fine mist up to 3 feet out -By comparison, Swiffer's spray creates puddles that can be damaging to hardwood floors *Bona's mop is six inches wider than the Swiffer WetJet, making for more efficient use and less work for the consumer * The Bona mop also comes with a bigger solution tank than Swiffer's (28 oz. vs. 16 oz.), and unlike its competitor, doesn't require batteries to operate. In retrospect, we really shouldn't have been surprised by the results of the trial. Bona has been an industry leader in hardwood floor care for over a century, so the release of a yet another top-of-the-line product is just more of the same from this company ...

From the 1975 album Bandolier There's a light, covers up my doorway Flickering light, never run away And I might, I might be going your way Say who might, might help me on my way Mmm, what a sight, sight to burn the ego Keep you warm and never let go And the light coming my way, Compared to what others have seen Napoleon the strong, he once had it As a sound that was loud in his dream And I stand locked before the four ways Wind and snow, Heaven and I I belong wherever men like that stay I can feel it burning in my eyes And the light coming my way, Compared to what others have seen But Napoleon the strong, he once had it As a sound that was loud in his dream Heavens child, it's driving me wild, Honey, I know that it's right Well, I got this message that makes me feel good Carries me out through the night Hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me! Well, I move through life like a hurricane lamp Lighting the road as I go Spreading this music, injecting the light Please let it stay, never go Hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me! And I think of napoleon and others before Parallels seem to exist And I follow it, follow it, keep it in sight Napoleon would never have missed Hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me!

Richard Bona - Muntula Moto ( The Benediction of a long life). From the album Reverence (2001). "Growing old is not a cause for anger or regret. Every morning you awaken is a blessing. Be active and enjoy your life. Prepare for old age when you are still young, so you will have nothing to regret later on."

Bona has developed a specially designed Dust Care unit for sanding machines, and which is placed in a trailer outside the building. This means that dust deriving from sanding is vacuumed up by a powerful dust collector and dispatched out to the trailer through a 60 metre hose. The sanding dust, which otherwise is usually an irritant to both the machine operator and the customers, is avoided by vacuuming the dust; a great advantage from a workplace environment viewpoint. The trailer has a very efficient cyclone filter, a good fan and a collection bag that holds 160 litres.

Richard Bona - Suninga (When Will I Ever See You) From the album Reverence (2001). A man falls in love with a woman at first sight, but she disappears before he can tell her of his feelings. He searches mountains, cities, even the street where she lives, but can never catch sight of her again. Julian and Sandy were characters on the BBC radio programme Round the Horne in 1965-1968, played respectively by Hugh Paddick and Kenneth Williams, with scripts written by Barry Took and Marty Feldman. According to a BBC Radio 4 programme on the characters they were named after the writers Sandy Wilson and Julian Slade. The characters were originally conceived as two ageing Shakespearean "old luvvie" thespians who were doing domestic work (in Kenneth Horne's flat) while waiting for the next acting job. The producer thought the characters were too sad and suggested making them younger "chorus boy" types. Their first appearance was in episode four of the first series, and they proved to be so successful that they appeared in every other episode. As well as being highly amusing, Julian and Sandy were notable for being two camp homosexual characters in mass entertainment at a time when homosexuality was still illegal in the UK, and for the use of Polari (or Palare) in the sketches. The writers and cast thought the characters worked very well as they were not being held up to ridicule or simply there to be the target of a joke, in fact most of the sketches revolved around Kenneth Horne's presumed ignorance being the target of their jokes.

Hey music aficionados! Herewith pure bliss. He belongs in the small group of the best bassists in the planet. ONE HOUR OF JUST RICHARD BONA. A man I'm glad to call a friend. Bona was born into a family of musicians, which enabled him to start learning music from a young age. His grandfather was a singer (griot) and percussionist, and his mother was a singer. At 4 years old, he started to play the balafon. At the age of 5, he began performing at his village church. Not being wealthy, Bona made many of his own instruments: including flutes and guitars (with cords strung over an old motorcycle tank). His talent was quickly noticed, and he was often invited to perform at festivals and ceremonies. Bona began learning to play the guitar at age 11, and in 1980 aged just 13, he assembled his first ensemble for a French jazz club in Douala.[1] The owner befriended him and helped him discover jazz music and, notably including Jaco Pastorius in particular, whose work inspired Bona to switch his focus to the electric bass. Bona emigrated to Germany at the age of 22 to study music in Düsseldorf,[1] soon relocating to France, where he furthered his studies in music. Whilst in France, he regularly played in various jazz clubs, sometimes with players such as Manu Dibango, Salif Keita, Jacques Higelin and Didier Lockwood. In 1995, Richard left France and established himself in New York, where he still lives and works. There he has had stints with artists like Larry Coryell, Michael and ...
