A colorful spectacle tell the story of the Canadian Metis with integrity. The Metis is a unique population with its own language and culture that is influenced by Indian, Scottish, Irish and French blood. These three bloodlines had an enormous influence on the musical culture of the Metis. The proud Indians with their colorful costumes and the inimitable rhythms and dances. The Celts with tight rhythms and howling sound of the bagpipes and finally the French with their uplifting and frivolous violin playing of Jigs and Reels. The Metis culture. Colorful Indian dancers and spiritual powwow drums, the Metis violin, Celtic bagpipes and tight rhythms, historical footage and the many story telling songs of Laura Vinson make this show a real spectacle.
