Remix of the final battle music from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the NIntendo Gamecube. There's an interesting story to go along with this one. You see, this remix was requested be an individual known only as Gavin MacLean (well, he's also known as LordGavinGames). I organized a trade with him. If I remixed the Shadow Queen Battle music, he would create some graphics for my Youtube channel. So here we are. Gavin designed some amazing background graphics (plus a Vonyco logo) and I remixed the final boss music from Paper Mario: TYD. :D ...A bit about the actually track. I admit, I never liked this track to first time I remixed it, but after listening to it again, around a year later, I have found a new respect for it. Seriously, this battle music manages to be creepy within the actual composition (and without sounding goofy, at that!). When most video game music tries to give off a "creepy" vibe, it's usually done through cheesy effects, sound effects, and the overuse of tritones. This track manages to feel heavy, creepy, and epic all at the same time. On a final note, I am REALLY excited about Paper Mario for the 3DS. :D While Super Paper Mario was a great game, I'm glad that the next game is going back to its RPG roots.
