This was an isometric science fiction game done by Bullfrog Productions in 1993. You had to control a team of cyborg agents through futuristic cities to reach several mission goals. It was available for the Commodore Amiga, Amiga CD32, Sega Genesis / Mega Drive, SNES, 3DO, Atari Jaguar, Acorn Archimedes and the NEC PC-9801. There also was an expansion pack called Syndicate: American Revolt, which was much harder than the original game. Both games were re-released together as Syndicate Plus in 1996. Syndicate is an isometric real-time tactical game from Bullfrog Productions created in 1993 by Sean Cooper. It is the first title in the Syndicate series. An expansion pack, Syndicate: American Revolt, and a sequel, Syndicate Wars, have also been released. The original game and expansion pack were re-released together in 1996 as Syndicate Plus. The game puts the player in charge of a self-named corporation in a gritty near-future cyberpunk-style world. Game play involves ordering a four-person team of cyborg agents around cities displayed in a fixed-view isometric style, in pursuit of mission goals such as assassinating executives of a rival syndicate, rescuing captured allies, "persuading" civilians and scientists to join the player's company or simply killing all enemy agents. As the player progresses through the game, they must manage the research and development of new weaponry and cyborg upgrades. The player has only limited funds, requiring taxation of the conquered territories while ensuring that they are not so over-taxed that they revolt against the player. Syndicate is a Cyberpunk Real Time Strategy game. It was made by Bullfrog and was published by EA in 1993. It came out for various platforms: PC (DOS), Amiga 500, Amiga 600, CD³², Sega Mega Drive, Macintosh, SNES, 3DO, Atari Jaguar, Acorn Archimedes, PC-98 In Syndicate you take the role of a mighty and relentless corporation which is fighting for world domination. Ofcourse you are not the only one who wants that and there is also the law which is there to make sure the cities are safe. You can choose to control 4 Agents who are there to do the dirty work for you. You can equip them with all sorts of weapons (pistol, uzi shotgun minigun and so on) most of them have to be researched first though. You can also upgrade your agents with cybernetic implants and kinda make them into "terminators" or cyborg agents. Which is pretty necessary considering the difficulty of later missions and using "human agents" would mean dead on arrival. However, mission include assasination or evacuation of specific persons, elimination of all enemy agents or purchasing specific items. You can do the missions however you like, the only important thing is getting the goals done. There are civilians everywhere and well although they seem useless at first they can become a good ally or cannon fodder if you use the persuadertron a lot (which makes them follow and fight for you) You can also steal cars that are standing around, and make a "drive-by", meaning that you shoot out of the car while driving <b>...</b>

I try to avoid scrolling the screen at later levels as the games automatically pauses while scrolling. I didn't persuade new syndicates, but everyone who's played this knows how it's done. They have better mods later in the game. No country went unhappy during this play. If overtaxed while unhappy, it will turn rebellious and the mission needs to be replayed. All mission briefings and just about everything else included. Time points for each mission can be found below. Syndicate Wars is a Cyberpunk Real Time Strategy game. It was made by Bullfrog and was published by EA in 1996 for PC and PS1. I heard that many people don't like the sequel, but I have no idea why. Not only does it play exactly like the prequel, but improves also in certain aspects (Story, Presentation, Controls, Weapons and Technologies, interface). It has better graphics (no really there is a hi-res option) and a "hidden cooperative mode" In the options you can activate controls for a second player which then can help you in the campaign missions. But this is rather unefficient because in coop mode the controls are pretty awkward and you can't move the camera around anymore. It plays like...GTA 1 only that aiming is almost impossible here :P Though the game has like any other game bugs. One bug that I was really upset about was the "pickup bug" In the second last mission you have to pick up bombs in order to prevent the total destruction of the level youre in. And if you fail a few times you agents cant pickup anything anymore. This really broke the game and made me angry because the mission before was next to impossible to win. I'm playing the demo version here for several reasons. 1.) I was too lazy to install the full version 2.) I only have the censored german version 3.) The mission in the demo shows enough action of the game
