All of the boys successfully do so except for Butters, who becomes lost. His absence goes unnoticed by the rest of the group. Cartman, believing that the game has been lost, becomes dejected. It was only while waking up from a nightmare that Cartman realizes that Butters never returned and thus the game is not over. He wakes the rest of the group. Concerned, they begin searching for their missing friend while Cartman and his crew resume protecting the backyard. As it turned out, while attempting to reach Cartman's house at night during a snowstorm, Butters is struck by a vehicle. The couple in the vehicle, believing Butters to be a Mexican immigrant named "Mantequilla", take him to their home and employ him as a stereotypical Mexican servant, giving him menial jobs to perform such as cleaning windows and washing dishes. However, the couple eventually abandons Butters at a Mexican restaurant, believing that Butters needs to be with his "own kind" to be happy <b>...</b>

Leopold "Butters" Stotch (voiced by Matt Stone) is a popular fictional character in the animated television series South Park; his nickname is a play on the word butterscotch. Butters has a large tuft of blond hair on top of his head, and wears an aquamarine jacket with dark green trousers. His birthday is on September 11, as revealed in the episode "AWESOM-O."

Bewildered at the prospect of a Japanese restaurant next to his, an angered Lu Kim enters the establishment and starts a fight with the owner, a Japanese man named Junichi Takayama. Butters is then sent home by the police for indirectly starting an "Asian turf war". Linda wonders what is the problem, and, according to Stephen, "it's clear it isn't our parenting, we're awesome!". Stephen decides that Butters must have mental problems and he and Linda take Butters to therapy, where he ends up being misdiagnosed with multiple personality disorder by psychiatrist Dr. Janus. However, it would turn out that Janus actually has multiple personality disorder himself and unknowingly puts Butters in situations that make the boy appear more mentally unfit. While this occurs, Lu Kim is further infuriated that everyone in South Park is lumping Chinese and Japanese together. He proceeds to enact a plan to get rid of Takayama by first faking a truce and then publicly humiliating him at the school by depicting old stock photos of the atrocities Japan committed against the Chinese prior to World War II, such as the Nanking <b>...</b>
