On today's DLC of the Day we are featuring the latest installment in the epic Serious Sam series, Double D. This latest version was developed by indie company Mommy's Best Games, but has all the awesomeness you remember about Serious Sam. . Sam is thrust into the second dimension must disable teleportation beacons before hordes of enemies invade and wipeout civilization. He is back with over-the-top abilities like the Gun Stacker. The stacker is a collection of robotic arms that let you carry all of your guns at once! Why switch between weapons when you can fire them at the same time? Did I mention you can also carry CHAINSAWS? . You'll fight hordes of enemies both old and new. Remembr the evil Kleer skelton and the headless Kamikaze? No worries if you don't there are lots of new enemies like the Etanoh Salvo Spider and the jet-packing Chimputee. There is also a new portable jump pad to test out and lots of funny secrets. . store.steampowered.com I take a look at "Serious Sam: Double D", a side-scrolling shooter developed by Mommy's Best Games. The presentation is quite nice. Everything is hand-drawn, and while it is a nice looking game, the animations are a little weird on the main character. The enemies do charge at you mindlessly so it is rather fast paced in comparison to a lot of other side-scrolling shooters. The gun-stacking abilities, while ridiculous are rather nice. With the return of a few classic enemies and some imaginative new ones, I thought it was definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of the Serious Sam series. It was kind of average, for first impressions I give it a C+/B-.

This a peak at the main bad guy in Serious Sam Double D. Here is his talking skeleton, shown in our custom editor. 1. Is the skeleton, used to set him up. 2. Is him moving in his idle pose in the animation editor. 3. Is his talking animation also in the anim editor. The 'joints' are what the sprite pieces are attached to.
