Psychedelic 60s: Posters from the Rock Era @ The Toledo Museum of Art

This summer the Toledo Museum of Art is spotlighting 150 posters from The Houston Freeburg Collection in the exhibit "The Psychedelic 60s: Posters From the Rock Era" in the Museum's Canaday Gallery from June 11 through Sept. 12. Admission is free. Kudos go to curator Amy Gilman for working with the owner of these prints, Houston Freeburg, and convincing him that Toledo (he is from Tennessee) was the perfect place for this exhibit. This exhibit is a big win for Toledo. The exhibit is exciting, enchanting and quite frankly it is simply hard to leave the space. There is a simulated concert stage that provide a musical backdrop while the eyes are mesmerized by incredible graphic designs in both standard paper and ink as well as fluorescent inks under black light. The space is also adorned by a vintage VW convertible bug, tapestries, wall hangings and bead curtains. Please note - This video taken in a media role. No photography/video is allowed in this exhibit.
