
Indie heat Sope and Don Nicoleone takes it to (ATLANTA) May 11, 2011 - Last night, event producers Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols along with over 400 Atlanta tastemakers and music industry insiders celebrated the One-Year Anniversary of ATL LIVE ON THE PARK, the most exclusive live music showcase in the city. R&B group NEXT reunited to headline the show, while author/musician Fonzworth Bentley wowed the crowd with an expertly choreographed routine. JIVE Records introduced their new hip-hop duo Big Heed & Alien (Alien - the drummer - is a show all by himself). Attendees such as Chaka Zulu (DTP), Ron Devoe (New Edition), Devyne Stephens, Q Parker (112), Roger Bobb (EVP, Tyler Perry Studios), Sheree Whitfield ("Real Housewives of Atlanta"), Bob Whitfield (former NFL player), stylist Tameka Raymond, and Faune Watkins (Bentley's wife) sang along as NEXT performed their classics "Wifey" and "Too Close."
