[SUBTITLES] The first recorded Dudemon prank call... Watch and listen as Sunshine calls a Pick Up Stix and orders massive food off the menu. He then asks the lady taking his order to hold on, then he calls another Pick Up Stix. He asks the first woman to repeat his order back to him while connecting the two lines. Both the first worker and the second, now taking his order from the first, become confused when they try to figure out what happened. And then, to both the Dudemons and the workers' surprise, they find out that the two workers are actually CO-workers! HAAAA! Such luck! So the Dudemons then realized that the Pick Up Stix location they called actually had TWO different phone numbers, which increased both the luck and entertainment factors! Toooooo good! Pattern Weaving on a Rigid Heddle Loom using Pick Up Pickup Stick Sticks

The stick is going 2 under and then 2 over the slot threads. I move the stick forward with the heddle up and pass the shuttle through the shed. Then I put the heddle in the up position again, but move the stick back and pass the shuttle through the shed. Then I move the heddle down and pass the shuttle though the shed. This process is repeated to achieve the pattern shown in the video. I hope this video has helped someone. I couldn't find any videos or clear instructions with photographs anywhere showing this procedure. If you know of a video showing how to make patterns in the weave using a pick up stick, please, please contact me...because I have spent hours on the internet searching for this and the only things I could find were "Buy my Book" kind of links or vague written instructions that I couldn't wrap my head around especially since there were no accompanying videos/pictures. ...I am an avid Google user and I could NOT find any FREE information ANYWHERE about this procedure which included photographs and/or videos. Kennedy Center Dec. 6.2009 David Warren "Dave" Brubeck (born December 6, 1920)[1] is an American jazz pianist. He has written a number of jazz standards, including "In Your Own Sweet Way" and "The Duke". Brubeck's style ranges from refined to bombastic, reflecting his mother's attempts at classical training and his improvisational skills. His music is known for employing unusual time signatures, and superimposing contrasting rhythms, meters, and tonalities. His long-time musical partner, alto saxophonist Paul Desmond, wrote the Dave Brubeck Quartet's best remembered piece, "Take Five",[1] which is in 5/4 time and has endured as a jazz classic. Brubeck experimented with time signatures throughout his career, recording "Pick Up Sticks" in 6/4, "Unsquare Dance" in 7/4, and "Blue Rondo à la Turk" in 9/8. This is a EXTRAORDINARILY UNIQUE drumming video with GLOW IN THE DARK DRUM STICKS!!! Which I was able to pick up in Orlando when I saw The Blue Man Group!!! The Blue Man Group never actually did use sticks like these in their show, but they had TONS of other cool things they were using. These drum sticks were sold at the gift shop and I decided to pick them up as a souvenir!! Along with The Blue Man Group shirt which I am wearing in this very video!!! I know its hard to see with it being pitch black and all, but every so often when the sticks light up you have a chance of catching a SMALL glimpse of it. This video was a bit tricky sometimes, because as you can see, the room was pitch black!! So it was kinda tricky sometimes to actually HIT the drum set. Once I got going though with a good beat, the sticks did their job and lit up the room in my area well enough for me to make out the kit. I didn't want to be too rough with these sticks, because they seem like they could break really easily. So nothing TOO intense in this video, but I still thought it turned out well. Even when I was done filming this, one of the sticks went out, and won't turn on when I hit it. I'm really hopping it just needs its battery replaced! Otherwise I have just ruined one of my coolest souviners from my Florida <b>...</b>

Pinwheel Houndstooth Pattern on Rigid Heddle Loom Weaving

The "true" houndstooth pattern that we're all familiar with which requires either 4 heddle bars or a 4 harness loom or 3 ridig heddles on a rigid heddle loom frame. The one in this demo is pinwheel and is a minii version of what we normally call houndstooth and it doesn't require extra heddles or pick up sticks to make it. The weaving draft and an example of the houndstooth pattern that we're all more familiar with is located on the main web site so, don't be afraid of string heddle bars (it's easier than you think) and do a full houndstooth pattern! It's not that hard, honest! Give it a try! The pinwheel here is woven "tromp as writ", that is, warp same as weft.
