Raised in a working-class African-American neighbourhood on the north side of the highly segregated city of St. Louis, Berry grew up in a family proud of its African-American and Native-American ancestry. He gained early exposure to music through his family's participation in the choir of the Antioch Baptist Church, through the blues and country-western music he heard on the radio, and through music classes, especially at Sumner High School. Berry was still attending high school when he was sent to serve three years for armed robbery at a Missouri prison for young offenders. After his release and return to St. Louis, he worked at an auto plant, studied hairdressing, and played music in small nightclubs. Berry traveled to Chicago in search of a recording contract; Muddy Waters directed him to the Chess brothers. As many of you know my grandmother passed away recently. This video was filmed March 1st, 2012 and she passed March 2nd. I wore this eye look to her wake and funeral so naturally now it makes me think of her. Hence the dedication at the end. - I love you grandma. I miss you. Sorry about the voice over in this video, its my first one. Took me HOURS, as did the editing. In total this video took me about a week to produce. HOWEVER it is faster for me to film tutorials this way now (voice over style)(well...if I can get use to doing voice overs. footage wise its faster for me to shoot) So I may have to continue to do them this way in order to have time. On a plus note this is also my first tutorial using my Canon T3i to shoot up close and manually focusing so I am pretty happy with the way it came out. Last gel eyeliner by Maybelline. A very good gel eyeliner product. £8.99 in the UK. While not the blackest of black gel eyeliners - its still a great option and rivals most higher end companies. I have no info about the inner waterline ... so i have no real idea if you can use it for that. I did and it stayed put - so i was very impressed. While not something i would re buy (i have so many its mental) its still a product i would recommend as being a great all round product for the price.

Hey guys! These are the Maybelline Color Sensational Pop Sticks I purchased: Pink Lollipop, Raspberry Ice, Citrus Slice. Unfortunately they don't have hardly any color payoff on me as I'd hoped. Although I've been told they do have a very subtle tint and Fruit Punch offers more color tint than the rest. Possibly my lips are too pigmented for any tint to show up. With that said, I will still enjoy using these and they're very pretty for a lip moisturizer but I wouldn't repurchase. Hope that helps! xoxo On my nails: Zoya Sweet
