To complete this How-To you will need: 3 oz. gin (or vodka) 2 tsp. dry white vermouth 1 tsp. olive brine 1 to 3 olives Ice A martini glass A mixing glass or cocktail shaker A long spoon A toothpick Step 1: Chill glass Chill the martini glass by filling it with ice and water, and set it aside. Step 2: Fill with ice Fill the mixing glass with ice. Step 3: Add gin, vermouth, & olive brine Add the gin, vermouth, and olive brine. Tip: Bottled olive juice is sold in varying potencies so you can concoct a drink that's as light or dirty as you prefer. Step 4: Stir with spoon Stir with the spoon for about 15 seconds. Step 5: Empty glass Empty the now-chilled martini glass. Step 6: Strain drink Strain the drink into the martini glass. Step 7: Spear olives Spear 1 to 3 olives with the toothpick. Tip: For an exotic touch, use premium olives stuffed with blue cheese, garlic, or jalapenos. Step 8: Garnish and serve Garnish and serve. Thanks ...
