Grand Theft Auto V. Trailer. 11/02/11. This is unknown as of yet but is hoped to be announced in the first trailer. Based on prior GTA games, the game should be released about 7.5 months after the first trailer, forecasting GTA V's release in July 2012. However, considering GTA IV was released 13 months after the first trailer, putting GTA V's release as late as the end of November to early December in 2012, if there are any delays such as in the previous game. A release date in November is also fairly likely because doing so would place it in Holiday shopping territory, though should this happen the game would have to compete with other popular video game titles released around this time too. Grand Theft Auto V is an upcoming video game in the Grand Theft Auto series, set in Los Santos and developed by Rockstar Games. The game will be the first major title in the series since Grand Theft Auto IV, which was released in 2008, and started the fourth "era" in the series.[a] A trailer was released on 2 November 2011. Okay maybe not all of us but you've got admit, finally hearing that Rockstar Games has confirmed Grand Theft Auto 5 is pretty exciting! . The company put this new logo on their website today with the promise of a trailer coming next week on November 2nd. There have been rumors swirling for months about this project from fake domain names to casting calls and others. But there are a lot of unknowns about the project which hopefully Rockstar will answer next week. . GTA has not seen a full fledged release since GTA 4 back in 2008. There have been expansions and handheld versions but I'm sure fans are hoping GTA 5 will be the AAA title they've been waiting for. Considering how Rockstar is also working on Max Payne 3 it is likely GTA 5 won't see a release until Fall 2012 or beyond. . But what do you guys think of this news? Excited? Where would you like the game to be set? Any types of characters you'd like to see or perhaps return from previous games?
