Russell, of Spanking the Monkey, Flirting with Disaster, Three Kings, I Heart Huckabees as well as the never-released project Nailed previously. Russell took over the project after Darren Aronofsky dropped out a few years ago. The script was co-written by Paul Tamasy (Air Bud, Walking Across Egypt) and first-timer Eric Johnson with Scott Silver (Johns, The Mod Squad, 8 Mile). Paramount is bringing The Fighter to limited theaters starting on December 10th with an expansion the following week.

Streetlight repped Australian Director Owen Trevor came onboard to co-direct the film. His experience and style carried forward from shooting on 3 series of the acclaimed 'Top Gear' have really been an asset to the project and given it a strong visual flair. Amazing Video: 'Jet Man' stunts alongside fighter jets over Alps
Amazing pictures from Switzerland show where "jetman" Yves Rossy gave this incredible flying display, using a tailor-made jet pack. The aviation enthusiast leapt from a helicopter and performed a series of aerial acrobatics above the Alps. He then joined two jet planes in a synchronized flight. To synchronise their flight paths the jets reduced their speed to 220 kilometres per hour (137 miles per hour), which put their engines at a point close to stalling. Street Fighter: Beginnings End - Thousand Pounds
My team and I just finished our first game to live action short, based off of the popular Capcom franchise: Street Fighter. Its always pained us not to see the movies focus on the two most iconic characters from the series so we thought wed pay tribute to the epic fighters that Capcom have created and make a small short film demonstrating some of their talents; all the while showing a take on Ken and Ryu at their dojo before Ryu enters the World Warrior Tournament for the first time (Street Fighter 1 Territory). The short consisted of a $400 (out of pocket) budget, was shot on the Canon EOS 7D, edited in Final Cut Pro and effects work done in Adobe After Effects. We hope you enjoy what we have put together! My dream is to make feature films that focus on video games/comics/anime and adapt them into a live action format. Im hoping this is a step in the right direction. **On a side note: We still can't believe the odds of another team releasing a Street Fighter Fan Film in the same week (let alone 24 hours!). But we can't wait to check out their film and we wish them the best of luck! We're fans first and foremost! Foo Fighters is an American rock band formed by singer/guitarist/drummer Dave Grohl in 1995.Grohl formed the group as a one-man project after the dissolution of his previous band Nirvana in 1994. Prior to the release of Foo Fighters in 1995, Grohl drafted Nate Mendel (bass), William Goldsmith (drums), and Pat Smear (guitar) to complete the group. Goldsmith left during the recording of the group's second album The Colour and the Shape (1997), soon followed by Smear. They were replaced by Taylor Hawkins and Franz Stahl, respectively, although Stahl left prior to the recording of the group's third album, There Is Nothing Left to Lose (1999). Chris Shiflett joined as the band's second guitarist after the completion of There is Nothing Left to Lose. The band released its fourth album One by One in 2002. The group followed that release with the two-disc In Your Honor (2005), which was split between acoustic songs and harder-rocking material. Foo Fighters released its sixth album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace in 2007. Over the course of the band's career, three of its albums have won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album, and all six have been nominated for Grammys.
