Taylor 814CE Acoustic / Electric guitar, serial # 1062. This Grand Auditorium piece really stands out with a full bass response. The mids and highs are very clear but probably the most outstanding tone quality is in the bass. The feel is very comfortable with the string height at the 12th fret set at 5/64. I can lower this a bit if you prefer and happy to do so. The expression pick up system provides an extremely accurate reproduction of the natural acoustic's tone. This particular piece has some of the most beautiful overtones I've ever heard from a six string. Awesome piece!

Slightly over a month from my last video.. but anyway, I decided to cover a song appropriate for this occasion! Valentine is probably one of my favourite Kina Grannis' songs of all time. Love the feel of it and the lyrics so I decided to try it out! Did it all in one take so there are some mistakes here and there.. Hopefully they aren't too obvious.. Voice is a little pitchy and hoarse because I'm still recovering from a flu but I had to record it because I wanted to get this video done in time! I mixed both the 'room' track from the video camera and the cleaner audio from the snowball together (most evidently at the start and the end of the video with the outside noise you hear ha).
